Join us for the 2012 Epicurean Cup Competition
The Epicurean Cup is a competition, hosted during the first session from 3PM to 6PM, where a group of four contestants of each specialty will be paired up into three teams. The contestants will be selected through drawing on Friday, August 24th. We will then randomly compose three teams representing the four categories and each team will work together to accomplish their tasks, just like in hospitality industry environment.
Each team will receive the same mystery basket from which they need to make the following:
- chef: create a main course
- sommelier: pair wine with main course
- pastry chef: create a dessert
- mixeologist: create a summer time cocktail
Each category will be noted individually and each team will be noted as well.
The Epicurean Cup will be held during the first session of the day, from 3 until 6PM. Hosted by Chef Louise, this years’ cup is being judged by a panel of experts:
